The Story Behind the Painting
This abstract cityscape stands as a powerful story of resilience, capturing the precise moment when a heavy fog begins to lift, revealing a newfound sense of stability.
The thick, textured layers mimic a storm breaking apart—darkness and uncertainty slowly giving way to light and a profound new beginning. Beneath it, a resilient skyline rises like pillars of inner strength, standing tall and unbroken against everything that has tried to bring it down.
To me, this painting represents what happens when you finally begin to see beyond the storm. The past may have shaped the landscape, but it no longer controls what stands upon it.
I truly enjoyed creating this piece, and it has become one of my favorites. Maybe because when I look at this city standing beneath a clearing sky, I see a little bit of myself—still standing, still rising, and finally able to see what lies beyond the fog.
