Lera Homer, MSW, LMSW 
Director of Clinical Services 

Lera Homer is the Director of Clinical Services at The Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT), where she leads clinical programming, housing operations, and the coordination of case management and support services for survivors. She plays a key role in shaping trauma-informed practices across the agency and spearheads the implementation of the Sanctuary Model to foster a safe, inclusive, and healing-centered environment for both clients and staff. Lera is a Licensed Master Social Worker and holds a Master of Social Work from Sacred Heart University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) at the University of Bridgeport, focusing on healthcare leadership and systems transformation. Lera was awarded a HRSA Impact Grant, a federal initiative aimed at expanding the presence of social workers in underserved communities, particularly in support of transitional-age youth. She also earned her BA in Sociology from Columbia University, with a concentration in Critical Race Theory and Gender. In addition to her work at PEHT, Lera serves as a Commissioner on the Social Services Commission for the City of Stamford, where she contributes to equity-driven policies that enhance access to essential services such as housing, food, and mental health support.
