Senior Director of Business & Operations
Katie is an experienced business and operations leader with over 16 years of experience driving growth and sustainability across nonprofit organizations and small-to-midsize businesses. As Senior Director of Business & Operations at PEHT, she oversees the organization’s finance, operations, and social enterprise initiatives, ensuring that mission-driven programs are supported by strong business systems and strategic planning.
With a diverse background spanning finance, operations, and education, Katie is passionate about integrating sound business practices with innovative program development. Her leadership supports PEHT’s commitment to empowering survivors of human trafficking through meaningful employment, skill-building, and economic opportunity.
Prior to joining PEHT, Katie served as a partner and senior consultant for a firm serving nonprofits and small businesses across the country. In that role, she led projects in operational planning, organizational development, and business strategy, helping mission-based organizations strengthen capacity and long-term impact. She has also held roles in public accounting, corporate finance, and adult education, and continues to partner with community organizations to deliver financial literacy and workforce training programs.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Financial Management from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from St. Ambrose University.
