Alejandra Cuevas Padilla
Bilingual Clinical Survivor Advocate
Alejandra serves as a Bilingual Clinical Survivor Advocate at Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT), where she provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive advocacy and support to survivors throughout Fairfield County. She works closely with survivors to develop individualized service plans, connect them with housing, healthcare, legal services, education, and other essential resources, and advocate for their long-term safety, healing, and independence.
In her role, Alejandra collaborates with the Stamford Police Department, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and other multidisciplinary partners to ensure survivors receive coordinated, survivor-centered care and timely access to critical services. She also conducts community outreach, facilitates psychoeducational groups, and empowers survivors as they navigate complex systems and work toward their personal goals.
Alejandra earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining PEHT, she served as a Case Manager at Mercy Learning Center, where she supported individuals and families representing more than 45 countries by connecting them with vital community resources and supportive services.
A lifelong Connecticut resident who grew up in Bridgeport, Alejandra is proud to serve the community she calls home. She is passionate about empowering survivors through compassionate advocacy and culturally responsive care, helping individuals build safe, stable, and independent futures while strengthening the network of support available throughout Fairfield County.
